Hillary Clinton Backs Obama's Immigration Reform
Immigration has been a hot topic recently, as President Obama used executive actions to protect approximately 4 million immigrants from deportation. Friday, Hillary Clinton came out and backed the President on this controversial issue.
The former Secretary of State and potential 2016 Presidential candidate says Obama's actions are in line with previous decisions made by both Democrats and Republicans, and that this is about protecting the people who deserve to be here.
"It's really the lives of people who are in many instances long time residents and workers who have not only raised children, but made contributions. And in many, many instances, paid taxes already," said Clinton.
President Obama's plan to offer temporary work permits to millions of immigrants is set to take effect in about 6 months.
