Oprah To End Talk Show, Announcement On-Air Friday: WABC

WABC's Eyewitness News is reporting that Oprah will announce the end of her talk show Friday.

"The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011," ABC's New York affiliate reports.

Deadline Hollywood Daily's Nikki Finke reported earlier this month that Oprah had decided to end her syndicated show and moving to her cable Oprah Winfrey Network when her contract expires in 2011, but WABC reports that no decision has been made about whether she will do the show on cable.
