Arnold Schwarzenegger forgiven by Democrat wife Can Arnie go back in the marital bed? Yes he can!
California's Republican governor Arnold Schwarzenegger had special reason to celebrate Democrat Barack Obama's US Presidential election win - it meant he was allowed back into bed with his wife!
Arnie (61), famous for action films like 'Terminator' and 'Total Recall', had found his marriage affected during the election campaign because his wife Maria Shriver (53) - a niece of legendary US President John F. Kennedy - is a staunch fan and supporter of Obama.
Things went wrong for the couple when the 'Governator' publicly backed Republican candidate John McCain (72) in February – his wife kicked him out of the bedroom!
The former actor may no longer have to sleep on the sofa at home, but he will still have to put up with his wife gloating that her man emerged victorious. Maria has apparently put up a life-sized cut out of the Democratic President elect in their house branded with the words: “We have won!”
Schwarzenegger spoke about his political opinions on CNN’s ‘Late Edition’: “In light of the huge economic challenges, Republicans and Democrats should work together in order to align basic ideological principles.”
There is possibly some personal interest behind that thought…
